One of the most popular, big band era compositions from Glenn Miller. This big swing piece is known and loved throughout the world. Not only has this jazz standard been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, but it was also inducted into the Library of Congress National Recording Registry.

Gonna Fly Now

Written by Bill Conti, the recognizable theme song from the movie 'Rocky' is famous throughout the jazz world, but most famously known as the triumphant music to Rocky Balboa running up the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art in the original 'Rocky' movie. Played before every kickoff for the Philadelphia Eagles, few songs have become such an iconic soundtrack for an entire city

Pennsylvania 6-5000

Another Glenn Miller classic, the title represents the phone number for the 'Hotel Pennsylvania' in New York City. The PE, in Pennsylvania was the early way to speak a phone number prefix. The phone number still works today, translated into (212) 736-5000.

Stuff Like That

Written by the legendary Quincy Jones. Originally an instrumental track, Jones re-worked the track with other R&B songwriters, Ashford & Simpson, and Chaka Khan. The end result turned this disco groove into what became a #1 R&B single in 1978, and topped at #21 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Gospel John

This up tempo, gospel inspired song was one of Maynard Ferguson's greatest hits. This composition features Maynard's incredible trumpet power, but balances with an easy gospel swing, this song has something for everyone.
