It’s a BOY! Ms. Breezy of Cedar Grove Equine gave birth to “Maestro” a cuddly Mini Mule on Friday, April 29 at 1:31a.m. weighing in at 24 pounds and 21 inches tall and the color of buckskin! Mini “Maestro” is the Official Mascot of the Williamsport Community Band. We have word that he and his mom, Ms. Breezy, will make their first appearance at the band’s Mother’s Day – Spring Concert this coming Sunday, May 8, 3p.m. at the Springfield Farm Barn. Bring your cameras for first photos of mini “Maestro”! Mules pulled the canal boats on the C&O Canal from Cumberland to Georgetown – 184.5 miles, Williamsport prospered during the canals period of operation, we are glad Mini “Maestro” won’t have to work so hard, he just has to be cute and he already has that down pat!!!

Joan Knode Assistant Mayor of Williamsport, MD
